These are Japanese Ice Carving Chisels. Set includes 5 custom made chisels with Ironwood handles (14 in. long). The set contains a 1.25 in. wide Flat chisel, 1.5 in. wide Flat chisel, 2 in. V chisel, 1.5 in. Curved chisel, 1.5 in. Scoop chisel. The Ironwood handles are the choice of NICA carvers, they are very hard, durable, waterproof and made to last. The chisels are hand forged and each one is handmade in Japan from the highest quality steel available. The Master Chisel Maker has been hand forging these for decades. These chisels have a Rockwell hardness of 59. They come in a felt lined hardwood presentation box. Chef Depot is the exclusive Importer of these high quality chisels.
